Enrolment Guidelines

 

1. You may enrol by filling the application online or by mailing your completed form with your payment slip/ cheque to the address provided.
2. Online applicants are required to settle the donation (based on minimum donation requirement per team) during online registration.
3. Participants applying by post or fax should settle the donation (based on minimum donation requirement per team) on or before 10 March 2017 in order to confirm the registration.
4. Participants of Individuals aged 14 or younger must be accompanied by an adult.
5. Family Team can include a maximum of 4 participants with at least one member aged 16 or younger.
6. Group Team can include a maximum of 4 participants.
7. School Team can include a maximum of 10 participants, 2 of whom (max.) are adults.
8. Corporate Team can include a maximum of 10 participants.
9. Minimum donation for each additional participant is HK$400 for Family, Group and Corporate Team, and HK$200 for School Team.
10. Family Team must fill in the full names of members and the contact details of the team leader.
11. In order to process donation receipts, Group and Corporate Teams should attach a full list of all participants. Names and personal email addresses of each member are required to apply for the team’s fundraising page. After submitting the form, the team leader / contact person can add team members, change the group icon and edit the introduction of the team by logging in to the fundraising page. 12. To get a certificate of participation for the “Christian Action 5th 3-Legged Charity Walk x F.U.N. Carnival”, please provide the full names of all participants on your team’s fundraising page or email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
13. Please provide us with your email address in order to receive a confirmation email and event updates. If you are using our online registration system, you will receive the confirmation email upon successful registration. If you submitted your application by mail or fax, you will receive the confirmation email within 5 working days.
14. Participant should verify the email to ensure they have successfully enroled in the event. Please check your details, and click on the link embedded in the email for confirmation. You can forward the fundraising page and invite your friends to sponsor your participation at Christian Action's 5th 3-Legged Charity Walk x F.U.N. Carnival. If you do not receive it, please check the “bulk" or “junk” mailboxes in your email, or call us at 2716 8873 for further enquiries.
15. Applications will be processed until all quotas are filled. Christian Action has the right to cancel applications that fail to meet the minimum donation amount.
16. All donations are non-refundable after a successful registration is received.
17. An event confirmation letter will be sent to you / team leader / contact person by email 1 - 2 weeks before the event. On the day of the event, participants must present their confirmation letter for registration. Christian Action will not accept on-site applications nor collect donations from participants on the day of the event.
18. If the event is cancelled due to bad weather or any other reasons before or during the event, submitted donations will not be refunded and the event will not be postponed.
19. All funds raised through the event will support our humanitarian and social services for underprivileged families in Hong Kong, orphans and disabled children in Qinghai.
20. Christian Action reserves the right to make the final decision on the approval of applications as well as event arrangements.
