On November 24 to 25, 2012, Christian Action took part in collaborating with International Christian Assemblies (ICA) in its flagship event of the year – “1 People 1 City” – a multi-cultural festival to celebrate diversity among all skin colours and from all walks of life.

From November to December 2012, Christian Action held the “Season of Love” Charity Cookies Campaign, so as to raise funds for orphans in Qinghai and low-income family children in Hong Kong. We hope to use this opportunity to send blessings to these needy people while celebrating Christmas.

Hong Kong Church Network for the Poor (HKCNP) 10th anniversary celebration

Hong Kong Church Network for the Poor (HKCNP) hosted the “HKCNP 10th Anniversary, Appreciation and Vision Sharing Conference” in early 9 March 2013. Christian Action, as a partner organization of HKCNP, shared the achievements over the last decade at the conference.

Edrington Fresh Food Support Programme

With the sponsorship from Edrington Hong Kong Limited, Christian Action Mong Kok Service Centre organized the “Fresh Food Support Programme” to distribute “fresh” and “nutritious” food to the low-income new arrival families in Hong Kong.The programme commenced in March 2013 and nearly 40 families were benefited each month. We gave away carrots, eggs, frozen chicken and beef ribs  and other fresh food.

Carrie’s Art Jamming with the Underprivileged

Famed illustrator Carrie Chau made her second visit to our Mong Kok Service Centre on 5 April 2013. She not only painted with the children but also worked on a piece with the recovering Qinghai orphan Shan-shan.
