Please pray for more supporters for our refugees and asylum seekers’ education sponsorship programme.  The funds are desperately needed in order to place and keep these children in school.

Stress affects marriage and family in negative ways. Our New Arrival Sheung Shui Service Center will run marriage enrichment programmes this week.  Pray that all attendees will gain insight into a God - centred marriage.

Praise God!   We hosted a series of career workshops for the ethnic minorities in Hong Kong, providing 40 selected people with the opportunity to experience a variety of workplace environments. Pray that this activity equips them for the job market.

Please pray for Fong, a young girl from HuangNan may soon go to Beijing for cardiac surgery to treat her heart disease. Please pray for God’s her as she is very frail.    8

Mrs. Cheung-Ang Siew Mei, the Executive Director, will talk on “Service Leadership in Action” at a local university today.  Pray that she will inspire the students to follow the higher calling that is on their lives.

Give thanks!  Our “Season of Love” cookie drive has been very successful. All proceeds will be invested in disadvantaged children in Hong Kong and Qinghai.

Kwun Tong and East Kowloon are undergoing rapid transformation, so our Training Services Division is co-organizing a variety of career workshops to optimize the local resources in our neighbourhood.  Pray that we continue to meet the rapidly changing needs of job-seekers in this area.

Our Domestic Helpers & Migrant Workers team will join the Roundtable to advocate for migrant workers rights in Hong Kong.  Pray for us as we respond to the Lord’s admonition “Whenever you did one of these things to someone overlooked or ignored, that was me – you did it to me.”

As we enter our 30th anniversary year, we will organize a number of celebrations including a publicity campaign, a photo exhibition and a charity dinner.  Please pray for us as we spread the word about the needy in our community.

Our New Arrival Sheung Shui Service Centre will carry out a series of visits to cross border families this weekend.  Pray that we are able to prepare them better for the local education system.

Several families from our New Arrival Services Centre in Mongkok will participate in the three-legged Charity Walk 2015 this Saturday morning. Please pray that they are blessed by this opportunity to spend family time in the outdoors.    20

Christian Action Asia (USA) will run a Spring Friend Raising Campaign.  Please pray that the event will arouse public awareness in the United States about the plight of needy children of Qinghai. Pray that more friends will embrace Christian Action’s ministry on the Tibetan Plateau.

Today is our 4th three-legged Charity Walk!  Pray for good weather, smooth execution of our plans, and that this event will garner public support for our ministry in both Hong Kong and Qinghai.   22

Though the third batch of Child Development Fund mentorship programme ended this month, please pray for the mentors and mentees.  Pray that they will remain in close relationship with one another, so that the mentors can continue to input into young lives.

The trainees from Sau Mau Ping Integrated Employment Assistance Service Centre will complete the “My Step” programme this month.  Pray that they all take what they have learnt over the last few years into their future with them.     24

Please continue to pray for those students and mentors participating in the 5th Phase of the Child Development Fund project, that we continue to help disadvantaged children in Hong Kong to break the poverty cycle and instill godly values in them through the mentorship programme.

Please pray for our refugees and asylum seekers programme which is facing a large annual deficit. Pray that people will partner with us to minister to the needs of the refugees and asylum seekers stranded in Hong Kong.      26

Tomorrow will be the last day of our Social Enterprise Division’s green collection drive at a local school in Tseung Kwan O.  Pray that more people will donate their unwanted household items, as they learn that this is an alternative form of service. These items will be sold in our charity outlets and finance our humanitarian services.

Our New Arrival Service Centre in Mongkok will host a two-day camp at Sai Kung for 50 service users.  Pray that all the participants will enjoy this opportunity to escape from confined, congested living conditions and draw some energy from nature.
