
Training Services
In operation since 1993, Christian Action is one of the largest professional training organizations in Hong Kong. Understanding the needs of the market, we are able to bridge the gap between employers and employees, helping them to achieve their goals. To date we have conducted almost 10,000 classes, training around 200,000 unemployed people and equipping them with better skills with which to re-enter the workplace. We have 200 instructors teaching 150 courses, in a variety of disciplines, increasing the competition among students. The programmes include the “Manpower Development Scheme”, “ERB Tailor-made Programme”, “Continuing Education Fund Programmes”, “Self-Enhancement Programme” and “Corporate Training Programme”.

Services: Provide the best professional training services to all students, regardless of their age, gender, nationality and religion.
1. Corporate Training
We provide various tailor-made training services and courses to organizations who wish to improve the competency of their staff through education. Courses are customized according to different technical skills; we also provide people skills including leadership, communication, negotiation, time management and decision-making.
2. Recruitment
We provide complimentary recruitment and referral services. To date over 10,000 corporations have utilized our complimentary recruitment services.
3. Vocational Training Programmes
- Employment Retraining Broad (ERB) “Manpower Development Scheme”: One-Stop Training and Employment Service
Over the years we have received numerous awards including the “Innovative Partners Award”, “Talent Achievement Award for Excellence”, “Service Quality Award”, “Employment Service Award”, and “Promotional Award” (from the ERB). In 2008, we were awarded the “15th Anniversary of Training Achievement Award”. At the same time, many of our partners have received “Outstanding Employer” and “Outstanding Student” awards.
- Labour Department- “Youth Pre-employment Training Programme” (YPTP) and the “Youth Work Experience & Training Scheme” (YWETS)
Concerted efforts between the Labour Department, employers and training bodies mean that YPTP & YWETS provides a comprehensive platform for youths aged 15 to 24, from diversified pre-employment and on-the-job training to placement service. This programme helps youths to understand themselves better and gauge their own aptitudes, while enriching their job skills and experience so as to enhance their employability.
4. Self-Enhancement Courses
Experienced professional instructors offer a variety of self-interest courses. We use simple teaching methods to develop individual potential, build skills to instill a different perspective of knowledge, wealth and enjoyment, all of which contribute to a professional approach in the workplace.
5. ERB Smart Living Scheme
Home Health Care
ERB Smart Living Scheme trains people to provide domestic assistance in the home. We understand the needs of the market and provide job-matching and job referral services for “Smart Helpers” incorporating “Home, Health and Care”. Professional services provided by “Smart Helpers” means you can have peace of mind knowing your home and family are well cared for.

- Health - Head to shoulders Massage, Foot Reflexology and Full-Body Massage (Home/Club House/Business Group)
- Care - Post-natal care, Child care, Elderly care, Escort for out-patient and Care for hospital patient
