Christian Action 25th anniversary celebration To celebrate the Christian Action 25th anniversary and help people get to know about the needs of orphans in Qinghai, we have a celebration dinner in Hong Kong JW Marriott Hotel on 26 October. Many guests made donations to the orphans and disabled children in Qinghai and we raised 1.4 million for our Children’s Home that night. We had invited Dr. Zhu and Dr. Liu, surgeons of Dou Ge and Mu Yang ; adoptive parent, Candy Lam; Arnett Edwards, who has been visiting Xining Children’s Home regularly for almost 10 years to join our celebration. Mu Yang, Dou Ge and Zhuo Ma were also invited to share that night. Dou Ge delighted the audience with a Mongolian dance. The Hong Kong Children’s Choir was invited to perform and touched the guests deeply when their songs were accompanied by sign language. |
