Alexandra Lenis
has been dancing and teaching in South Florida as well as internationally for over 8 years. She has traveled extensively to learn the dance and the culture of the Middle East, including places such as Egypt, Turkey and Morocco.

Alexandra has been featured performing in national TV networks like Telemundo and Univision and in various theatre performances with the Mid Eastern Dance Exchange Organization, the latest being 40 Days and 1001 Nights. She has appeared in the Orientalia shows (2003, 2004, 2005) and with the Emerald Dreams Dance Company under the direction of Tamalyn Dallal. In 2005, together with Ms. Dallal, she organized the Secret Garden dancers retreat in Siwa, a desert oasis in the Sahara desert of Egypt.

Her favorite dance style, Egyptian, has inspired her to study with Egyptian dance legends like Raquia Hassan, Dina, Yousry Sharif, and Mahmoud Reda, just to name a few. Her style is captivating and fun; earthy yet elegant. She currently resides in Miami FL, where she teaches and performs year round.
