
Ingrid
started to study ballet at the age of 6 in Lyon, France. At the age of
12, she turned to acting which she studied extensively for 10 years. In
1999, she began flamenco with Gabriel da Roca in Paris. A year later,
she moved to New York and took classes with Jose Molina and La Meira,
two personalities of the New York Flamenco scene, as well as with Omayra
Amaya. In 2002, she had the privilege to study under the direction of
Nelida Tirado, one of the most talented flamenco dancer of our days.
Ingrid has taken workshops with La China, Maria del Mar Moreno, Alejandro
Granados, Soraya Clavijo, Soledad Barrio, Manuel Betanzo, Manuel Linan,
Isabel Bayon, Eva la Yerbabuena, Pilar Ortega, Leonor Leal and Juan Polvillo.
Ingrid has the experience of tablaos and stage. While in New York, she
worked in various tablaos - Flor de Sol, La Nacional, Xunta,
Allioli, Taperia Madrid, Meson Flamenco. In March 2008, she performed
at the Fringe Club and the Hong Kong Cultural Center as a featured artist
of the first Hong Kong Flamenco Festival.
Ingrid has been in Hong Kong since 2005 and has since devoted herself
to teaching flamenco.
