Sanggar Budaya is a cultural group created by the Indonesian Consulate General in April 1996. Members and dancers of Sanggar Budaya are Indonesian Domestic Workers who have talent and are interested in the culture. The dancers have performed in many different events convened by the Hong Kong Government, District Council, NGO and other Consulate Generals in Hong Kong.

For Orientalia Hong Kong, Sanggar Budaya will perfom a Story of Ramayana Dance, a dance inspired by the Ramayana Story, an Indian Epic which describes how Rama, with the help of Hanuman (a monkey king) rescues his wife, Shinta, who is kidnapped by the Giant Rahwana, the King of Alengka.
