從大學生到創變者：基督教勵行會卓越獎學金舊生會活動啟航禮 — From College Students to Changemakers: CASE Alumni Kickoff

三年前發生了一件震撼人心的大事，那就是「基督教勵行會卓越獎學金計劃」（Christian Action Scholarship for Excellence，CASE）的成立。我們當初為何要設立獎學金呢？這是因為獎學金能改變生命。它為來自香港基層家庭的學生，提供了原本難以想像的教育機會。

自 2022 年推行以來，已有超過 60 位本地及難民學生獲得獎學金。他們當中不少已升讀包括香港大學、香港中文大學及香港科技大學等頂尖學府，並在他們自己熱愛的領域中追尋夢想。

隨著基督教勵行會卓越獎學金計劃日漸發展，我們的願景也更加宏大了。其中一項近期的重要里程碑，就是在 2025 年 11 月 2 日舉行的基督教勵行會卓越獎學金舊生會活動。 當天有超過 80 位學生參加活動，這個全新的平台，讓年輕人彼此連結、合作、彼此互作友師，並建立一生的友誼。

當日活動其中一個核心環節，是一場由校友分享的專題座談會。

岑啟灝（Matthew）是社企「鐵樹銀花有限公司」的創辦人，這是一家讓大家重新思考社會應如何看待「老齡與照顧」的社會企業。他的使命是恢復長者的尊嚴，並提供創新的方案。他的故事亦提醒大家，真正的改變始於同理心。

鄧景皓(Ken Deng)是基督教勵行會卓越獎學金得獎者及香港科技大學學生。他分享了在疫情期間，基督教勵行會的支援如何幫助他跨越難關，讓他能以堅毅和鬥志克服課業上的困難，見證了當一個人選擇不放棄，困境就能化為力量的精神。

另外，我們也一同見證廣豪(Kwong Ho)與其導師東陽(Dicky) 之間深厚的情誼。他們的故事呈現了師友關係如何燃亮一個人的夢想、勇氣與影響力，啟示了當一個人能夠緊握夢想，也能激發另一個人一起朝著目標邁進。

我深信，優質的教育能為長期身陷貧窮的家庭帶來世代的改變。基督教勵行會卓越獎學金計劃已帶來巨大的影響，而全新的舊生會網絡將會使這份影響力更加深遠。請按此支持這個卓越的計劃！

Something earth-shatteringly powerful happened three years ago – it was the establishment of the Christian Action Scholarship for Excellence (CASE). Why scholarships? Because scholarships change lives. They are educational opportunities that would otherwise be impossible for students from some of Hong Kong’s poorest families.

Since it’s launch in 2022 more than 60 local and refugee students have received scholarships! Many have gone on to top-tier universities, including HKU,CUHK, and HKUST, and all of them are pursuing their dreams in fields they are passionate about.

As the scholarship programme grew, so did the vision. One recent improvement was the 2 November 2025, launch of the new CASE Alumni network celebration. Attended by over 80 students this new community is a place where awardees can connect, collaborate, mentor one another and develop lifelong friendships.

At the heart of the event was a special panel session opened for sharing by the alumni:

Matthew Shum, Founder of The Illuminant Company Limited, a social enterprise reimagining society’s perceptions of aging and care. His mission is to restore dignity to the elderly and provide innovative solutions. His story reminded us that true change begins with compassion.

Ken Deng, a CASE recipient and HKUST student, shared how Christian Action’s support helped him overcome obstacles during the pandemic. His resilience and fighting spirit shone through—proving that hardship can be transformed into strength when you refuse to give up.

We also celebrated the powerful bond between Kwong Ho and his mentor Dicky. Their relationship illustrates beautifully how mentorship can spark vision, courage, and impact—showing that when one person catches the dream, it can inspire another to run with it.

I believe that a quality education can bring generational change for families that have been trapped in poverty. The CASE scholarships have a huge impact and the new CASE Alumni network will only make that stronger. Click here to support this wonderful program!
