"Building Tomorrow Together" Campaign
Sponsored by China CITIC Bank International (“CNCBI”) and supported by the Office of Sham Shui Po District Council Member Chan Lung Kit, Christian Action’s community poverty alleviation campaign “Building Tomorrow Together” (共闖明天) aims at reducing chances of intergenerational poverty for low-income families in Sham Shui Po District, by improving their living conditions and parent-child relationship through assistance programmes such as home improvements, food assistance and parenting skill enhancements. On 25th February 2024, members of the China CITIC Bank International Management Committee led the Bank’s corporate volunteer team members alongside District Council Member Chan Lung Kit joined the “Building Tomorrow Together” kickoff ceremony cum Chinese New Year goody bags preparation and distribution programme, delivering warmth to about 300 families within the district.
