One of our shelter clients under the Migrant Domestic Workers (MDWs) Programme will have her hearing this July which has been pending for more than a year. Please pray for His presence, providence, and comfort during this trying time; and she will personally understand the verse written in Numbers 6:24: “The LORD bless you and keep you”. Pray that the court case will also be settled and resolved soon. Amen!

5 more“Loving Mama (愛心媽媽)” have currently joined the Xin Ning Court (心寧家園) in Qinghai, under our China programme, where young teenagers suffering from physical/mental disabilities are trained in their daily lives and helped to transit to the social welfare institute when they reach the age of 18. Please pray that they will team up to serve these teenagers with compassion and patience; and our services can fill the needs according to God’s will. Amen!

Our Information and Technology Department is currently upgrading the computer room of our Jordan training centre. Pray that the work will be accomplished as scheduled; thus, enhancing the quality of our training programmes.

The woman volunteers from our Long Ping Service Centre (LPSC) will work hand in hand with our partner church to hold a party today for about 50 seniors in the vicinity. Hopefully, we will foster networking with different local churches to deliver love and care to those needy elders in the community. Amen!

Yesterday the On Tai Employment Support Services Centre (EmSS) held a job fair titled “3rd Shot of Job Recruitment Session” in Yau Tong; offering over 1,000 jobs of different industries on site like chain caterers, health care, retailing and others; and also workshops covering essential job application, interviewing skills and mental health. Pray for His wisdom and connection that we would offer the right matching and employment opportunities for job seekers and bring faith and hope to them. Amen!

Our EMAm Team has conducted different board games including Carrom and interesting activities like make-up and reading in the library. Pray that all EM youth will be enriched by these enjoyable moments this summer; and feel loved and cared for in the community.

The Training Services Division (TSD) will participate in a job fair named “Let’s Build Workplace Diversity and Inclusion共創多元文化工作間 招聘會” organized by the Labour Department today and tomorrow to promote our Employees Retraining Bureau (ERB) training programmes in MacPherson Stadium, Mongkok. Pray that more people, especially the EMs, will be enriched through our ERB training and retraining programme to enter the job market with confidence and skills; and secure a long-term job soon.

Pray for perfect weather; and that all of them enjoy themselves in nature filled with God’s amazing creations.
